The 参与 Living & Learning Community provides a supportive environment for first-一年 students who have a passion for volunteerism and social issues. 参与 is founded on establishing leadership skills, creating a community for first-一年 students, and encouraging personal growth by giving back to their community.
Students choosing to live in the 参与 community will benefit from living in the same residence hall as 其他 first-一年 参与 students and taking the same UNIV 1000 课程. Members will develop strong bonds and personal relationships with their peers while learning about & aiding the social issues present in the world, country, and our community. As an additional resource, members will have access to peer mentors from the 参与 Leadership Team, as well as the staff from the Community Engagement & Sustainability. The 参与 LLC meets weekly as a group for lessons, community service-projects, and family-style dinners.

Live on campus and maintain at least a 2.0的绩点

Become active participants in CES programming by taking leadership roles in various service opportunities for the general campus body

Commit to intentional community by coming together for weekly dinners and regular service projects

Live out their passions in community and form lasting relationships with their fellow students
Living communities like 参与 create a cohort of students with common passions and interests. 参与 gives students the opportunity to share their experiences with each 其他.
